Summary
Investigation of restricted yaw control during a Sikorsky S-76C approach to Denham Aerodrome. The crew completed an uneventful running landing. Computed tomography and hydraulic bench checks identified a split solenoid valve ball causing internal leakage in the pedal damper trim actuator. Manufacturer advisory and flight manual changes were being prepared.
