Summary
A midnight crew-change journey in a desert area encountered flash flooding after prolonged heavy rain. Water carried the four-wheel-drive vehicle approximately 120 ft. Five occupants escaped through the windows onto its roof and radioed for help. They reached safety after the water subsided; nobody was injured, but the vehicle was damaged.
