Summary
A motorman pushing drill pipe through a rig’s V-door slipped when the joint moved unexpectedly. After losing his grip on the handrail and then the V-door edge, he fell approximately 16 feet to the ground, landing on a BOP trolley and sustaining a broken arm, bruises and a forearm cut.
