Summary
An alert describes a well-control incident following drill-pipe logging and tripping. An influx was circulated using the Driller’s Method, but returns were lost. Repeated opening of the blowout preventer released mud and gas through the rig table. An explosive flash fire injured eight people, who were evacuated to hospital.
