Summary
During stringing of travelling blocks, new drill line escaped a wire mesh snake grip and fell to the rig floor from approximately 20 metres. The alert describes grip sizing, insertion, hose-clamp securing and the back-spliced pulling line. Four workers were on the rig floor, but none were near the drop zone.
