Summary
During drill-pipe drifting with a mandrel, a pipe joint contacted the foot of an employee suspended in a man-cage above the racks. This dislodged the joint from its vertical storage bin. It fell through a crane windscreen, landing between the operator’s legs and causing slight abrasions to his left calf.
