Summary
An alert describes hydrogen sulphide detection at surface during drilling of a well’s casing shoe track, upon bottoms up. The previously cemented well had been suspended for 30 days, with untreated spacer fluid remaining inside the casing. Rig and mudlogging sensors near the shale shakers recorded 57 ppm and 43 ppm respectively.
