Summary
During tripping at crew change, shear rams were activated while personnel believed the tubing was clear. The rams cut the tubing, dropping 420 feet (128 metres) into the well. Concurrent work was taking place in the cellar. Fishing recovered the tubing, with two days of rig time lost.
