Summary
OPRED sets out interim expectations for oil pollution emergency planning for wells disconnected from offshore installations and lacking in-situ response capability. Responsible Persons are expected to demonstrate effective response arrangements without claiming unavailable offshore resources. Existing onshore plans submitted at OPRED’s request require no changes until further notice.
