Summary
A deckhand injured his left leg while steadying a 50-foot basket with a tagline during back-loading to a support vessel. Vessel rolling pulled him towards the load. The investigation identified body position and grip as the probable cause and a wet deck as contributory. Evacuation and surgery followed.
