Summary
BSEE investigates a gas release at A-Ursa that triggered compressor and platform shutdowns and personnel muster. A loosened valve-flange nut allowed leakage from a methanol injection line into the compressor enclosure. Vibration or improper tightening were possible factors. Emergency crews isolated the leak; no damage, injuries or pollution occurred.
