Summary
A winch line parted while drill collars were being racked back, allowing a collar to swing into the derrick and strike a rig tong cable sheave bracket. The bracket subsequently fell from approximately 20 metres to the rig floor. Derrick vibration helped break the remaining weld; no personnel were injured.
