Summary
A deck coordinator was injured while back-loading a mud motor from a rig to a crew boat. The double-wrapped, end-slung load shifted during lifting, trapping his left leg against stored mud motors. After release, he fell approximately 9½ feet to the catwalk, sustaining left-leg and right-arm fractures.
