Summary
During casing running, a joint escaped an automated single-joint elevator positioned approximately eight metres above the rig floor. It slid down the V-door, travelled along the catwalk and passed over a stopper and handrail before striking an exhaust-pipe protection frame, then rebounding onto stacked casing.
