Summary
During checks of a firefighting water filling connection, trapped pressure propelled a steel dust cap into a wall approximately 10 metres away. Minor wall damage occurred without injuries. Work stopped and similar lines were checked and depressurised. The flash suggests considering a drain cock to release residual pressure before cap removal.
