Summary
BSEE investigates a turbine-compressor fire at Cantium’s Main Pass 42 complex. Liquid carryover and loss of seal-oil pumping allowed gas into the lubrication system, overpressurising the oil tank and releasing oil and gas onto the hot engine. Firefighting and vessel evacuation are described; no injuries or pollution occurred.
