Summary
Investigation of a minor rental air-compressor fire on unmanned platform SM 99 B. The fire damaged hoses and a diesel tank, caused approximately half a gallon of pollution and caused no injuries. The cause remained unknown; Chevron planned fuel separation from heat sources and conversion to a natural-gas prime mover.
