Summary
Following unlatching from the BOP ahead of pending weather, an uncontrolled riser-string release left the lower marine riser package on the seabed. Five droop hoses initially connected the upright string to the rig, then failed, allowing it to fall away from infrastructure. No personnel injuries or subsea asset damage were reported.
