Summary
A crane fast line failed while a load was being landed on a moored supply vessel. Its ball fell 140 ft onto the vessel’s deck near two roustabouts guiding the cargo basket with tag lines. Neither was injured; approximately 100 ft of fast line whipped back onto the rig.
