Summary
An inflatable boat fell onto a dive support vessel’s deck after violent rolling shock-loaded its cradle’s securing ropes. Two ropes snapped, and the remaining ropes turned the boat over during its fall. No injuries or environmental damage occurred. Recurrence measures included revised securing, an additional cargo lashing belt and platform skirting.
