Summary
An investigation records a crane fire following hydraulic pump replacement. A failed pump seal filled the gearbox with hydraulic fluid, which overflowed through its vent onto the turbocharger exhaust and ignited. The fire was extinguished, contaminated fire blankets were replaced, and Murphy decided to reroute the vent to the engine skid.
