Summary
An investigation examines finger fractures sustained during simultaneous lifting of two air-hoisting work baskets from a platform to a liftboat. The worker’s hand became trapped between a tag line and guardrail. Findings identify an off-centre load block, hand position and load weight, alongside omission of the lifting process from the job safety analysis.
